By far the best, and world-class, French onion soup I have ever had - this is a regular spot for us in Saratoga Springs and provides a comfortable environment offering upscale options. A must have if you love classic pubs, yet have a developed palette. Cheers to the kitchen staff.
This place is great. Lots of options. Ambiance is awesome, excellent service. I usually steer away from pork chops in restaurants because I can make at home but the entree here is amazing. Brined and char grilled. My steak knife went right thru with no effort. Not pictured but awesome was the french onion soup. Going back for sure.
Our favorite local restaurant! Lived here for three years and finally tried it this year and we couldn't believe what we had been missing. Been coming back ever since. Every time we have guests we bring them here because it's consistently good! Also I think the prices are really fair for the size of plate and quality. We love it!

We had an amazing meal here last night. I had the tuna tartare and my husband had the chicken salad. The drinks were delicious, staff was friendly and the atmosphere was great. The lights are low, the seating is cozy and they had a great band, the evidence that plays there regularly. We can’t wait to come back, thank you!
I am so greatful that we chose Brook Tavern for the rehearsal dinner for my son's wedding. Carol Ann was WONDERFUL & helped me & gave great suggestions. The food was absolutely DELICIOUS, the service was GREAT. Even though I live over 3 hours away, I would love to come back just to have dinner there.
Excellent service, it’s a shame we forgot our servers name but he was excellent- super attentive and warm. Good location, off the main drag a bit. Nice atmosphere and good food. Definitely recommend for an easy, nice dinner.
Always nice to support these local gems! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was so delicious and tasty! They followed order notes and we were all very satisfied with our food choices. If you do come here, you need to order the meatballs, fish & chips and try their burgers! Enjoy!
